<p>During India’s decisive victory over England in the third Test of their current home series, Ravindra Jadeja was named ‘Player of the Match’ for his all-around performance. The top player of India dedicated the honour to his wife, Rivaba.<br />
The host side now leads the five-match series 2-1 after local hero Jadeja led India to a record-breaking 434-run victory against England in Rajkot. Jadeja struck a century and then claimed five wickets.</p>

<p>India lost the first Test of the series in Hyderabad, but they bounced back to win the next two Tests in Rajkot and Visakhapatnam.<br />
“This is my home field’s unique ‘Man of the Match’ award. I want to give my wife this honor on her behalf. She has put forth a lot of effort behind the scenes.In a BCCI video, Jadeja said, “She instills confidence in me every time.”<br />
A few days before to the Rajkot Test, Anirudhsinh, the cricketer’s father, said that Rivaba had caused a split in the family and that his son had changed since marrying her. In response, Jadeja came out in support of his wife.</p>
<p>Speaking about the victory in Rajkot, Jadeja teamed up with captain Rohit Sharma at 33/3, a hazardous position, and the two struck hundreds to forge a strong combination that helped pull the team out of difficulty.<br />
Jadeja’s final score was 112, while Rohit’s was 131.</p>
<p>With a mammoth 557 to win, England was forced to fold for only 122 as a result of Jadeja’s excellent bowling, which produced figures of 5/41 for the left-arm spinner.<br />
“Getting five wickets in the second innings is an amazing sensation. In the video, Jadeja said, “And that too, taking 105 wickets in one Test is special.”</p>
