<p>In 2021, Ed Westwick, star of Gossip Girl, and Amy Jackson initially connected at an Aston Martin event. Their canines joined them on a coffee date, which led to the blossoming of their love. And on a bridge in Gstaad, Switzerland, Ed proposed to her in January of this year, marking their official engagement. Images from the proposal, in which he got down on one knee and startled and delighted Amy, went viral on social media. Indian celebs such as Sophie Choudry, Shruti Haasan, and Kiara Advani showed a lot of admiration for the post.</p>

<p>Prior to the premiere of her film Crakk – Jeethegaa Toh Jiyegaa, Amy Jackson spoke exclusively to us about the images of her and Ed that went viral as proposals. “It was really well done,” she cries. Although she currently has no reservations about dating an actor, she does admit that she had never intended to be in a relationship with someone in her industry. “It really has made a difference to be with Ed.” I would not date an actor, I would repeat over and again. But it’s fantastic to have someone who knows what you do and is supportive,” adds Amy, who is making her comeback to Hindi cinema after almost eight years away.</p>
<p>The Ekk Deewana Tha actress continues, praising him for being a strong support system for her, particularly in regards to her career: “Ours is a very unusual job.” Every day is unique when we’re traveling. Our schedules are erratic, so having someone who supports and understands that while still watching out for you is quite unique. It’s incredibly good that we understand one other. And in a partnership, that’s crucial.</p>
<p>Ed showed his fiancée his support for her Tamil film Mission: Chapter 1 – Achcham Enbathu Illaiyae by making a big entrance in Mumbai last year. They had a lavish party in the city with Vedant Mahajan from MVM Entertainment, and a number of Bollywood celebrities, including Shamita Shetty and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, attended the occasion.</p>
<p>Recalling his trip to Mumbai, Amy says he had planned to see Hindi films while there. Ed and I like seeing movies in a variety of genres and languages. He has produced a few of motion pictures. We so do some study on several movies. Ed was eager to see some Bollywood movies when he visited Mumbai last year, and he saw a lot of my movies, which is great. I wanted him to learn about the business and have a better understanding of Bollywood,” she says.</p>
<p>The 32-year-old says that he saw the Crakk teaser and comments, “We’ve been watching a few films and he loved them,” when asked about his opinion. He finds Hindi films to be amazing. After seeing the Crakk trailer, he said, “Wow, Bollywood really knows how to do action.” Now, he wants to be a Bollywood action hero (laughs).</p>
