‘In 18 months I…’ Coach Dravid reveals big secret just before WTC final

The teams of India and Australia are going to face each other in the final match of the World Test Championship today i.e. from Wednesday. This match is to be played at The Oval Stadium in London. Team India’s playing 11 has not been decided yet for this match. Captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid were also asked many questions regarding this. But coach Dravid has given a big statement regarding his coaching.

Coach Rahul Dravid said on Tuesday that the number of matches in recent years has forced the Indian team to use too many players across formats. Ahead of the WTC final against Australia at The Oval, Dravid talked about his experience of coaching the Indian team.

Dravid said that we have got some experienced players, we have tried many young players during the last 18 months. We had to use more players due to the three different formats and the number of matches played by the Indian team. This former captain of India said that our cricket system has a lot of players coming in and also going out. It has been really exciting and a great learning experience for me as well.

‘I learned a lot in 18 months’

He said, ‘Yes, it has been a lot of fun and I have enjoyed it. During this time I got a chance to work with a lot of players and build better relationships with a large group.’ The Indian coach said that during these 18 months, I have learned a lot about myself as a person and also about coaching.
