Report: Rishabh Pant's recovery period has been extended, and he will now miss the 2023 World Cup

Fans have been talking about Rishabh Pant's injury and recuperation since he is one of India's premier cricket players and plays for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL. Since December 2022, the 25-year-old has not played for their country in an international cricket match. He was involved in a terrible tragedy just before the new year.

The 25-year-old is reportedly making great progress in his recuperation, but he will likely miss the forthcoming 50-over World Cup, which will be held in India in October-November. According to the source, there are expectations for an early recovery, but it will be up for debate whether his first return would be as a batter or a wicketkeeper.

People close to Pant said it would take him at least a few weeks to walk without assistance after he was recently seen on crutches at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

When asked how he was doing, Pant said, “I'm recuperating really well and I'm getting better with every day. The Delhi Capitals were there when I went to the National Cricket Academy. I thus met the group.

“I just saw the team's practise in progress. I truly like being around the lads, and I miss it,” he said.

Pant, who sustained severe injuries in the fatal vehicle accident he was involved in late December, is still recovering in the meanwhile. Following that, he underwent surgery, and he is presently receiving treatment and recuperating at the National Cricket Academy.
